Biography

Born in Mahon (Menorca) Balearic Islands. Spain in 1952


I have dedicated my life to working in the financial sector until 2002.


From that year I start to paint, studying with Ms. Alicia Diaz Verdes Montenegro to date that I\'m still learning.


My love of painting owe it to my father D. José Cortés, self-taught painter, which I wanted to follow in their footsteps.


I think my style is between realism and impressionism, but as I said my friend José Robles (painter)...

I love to reflect in my painting, that I behold in reality, always choosing the color that you can express.

Bear in mind we are dealing with works of art, so they may be in an exhibition (actually, this is awesome!). Those artworks which are in an exhibition are usually displayed as “non-available”. In case the artwork has been put up for sale, take into account the artist would have to manage with the organization of the exhibition the return of the artwork in order to be able to realize the shipment.
