Biography

Born in Mahon (Menorca) Balearic Islands. Spain in 1952


I have dedicated my life to working in the financial sector until 2002.


From that year I start to paint, studying with Ms. Alicia Diaz Verdes Montenegro to date that I\'m still learning.


My love of painting owe it to my father D. José Cortés, self-taught painter, which I wanted to follow in their footsteps.

I think my style is between realism and impressionism, but as I said my friend José Robles (painter) are working .......: color and Pop-art style can also lead to abstraction " .


I love to reflect in my painting, that I behold in reality, always choosing the color that you can express.
